SteelSeries Launches QcK Prism Mouse Pad with Adjustable RGB Lighting and Dual Surfaces
SteelSeries has recently released a dual-sided Qck Prism mousepad with RGB lighting. It’s not the first time that mousepads with RGB LEDs have hit the shelves, as Razer, Corsair, and Thermaltake previously introduced similar mouse pads. As mentioned earlier, the SteelSeries Qck Prism won’t just feature RGB lighting but has dual mousepad surfaces.
The RGB LEDs are spread out across the borders of the pad. The LEDs are spread out in twelve different zones, which can all be mapped individually with SteelSeries’s Engine software. Users will be able to choose static colors, but lighting flows and breathing features are also possible.
The first surface area of the Qck Prism features a somewhat sturdy and hard top of polymer, while the backside uses a rather soft layer. SteelSeries also mentions that they’re existing QcK and Dex mousepads should most likely fit into the Prism, although the size of the Prism can vary slightly due to the manufacturing process. The mousepad measures at 292 x 356 millimeter and has a thickness of 8.7 millimeters.
The SteelSeries Qck Prism is available immediately for a recommended retail price of $74,99.
