Logitech Introduces Cheaper G413 Mechanical Keyboard with Romer-G Switches
Logitech has added a new product to its line-up of mechanical keyboards for gamers: the Logitech G413. Just like other mechanical keyboards from Logitech, it will be using Omron’s Romer-G switches. This mechanical keyboard is cheaper compared to the company’s other offerings and has received a recommended retail price of $99.99.
The Logitech G413 will release in two different variants: the G413 Carbon and the G413 Silver. The former uses a darker enclosure with red backlight illumination, while the Silver has a slightly more accessible and lighter look and features white backlight illumination. The panel itself is made out of an aluminum/magnesium alloy and has received a brushed finish. The back of the keyboard is made out of plastic.
In terms of specifications, Logitech claims that the keyboard will have 10 ms faster signal processing speed compared to mechanical keyboards of the competition – although that claim hasn’t been tested and confirmed yet. There’s also a USB 2.0 passthrough-port and there are handy cable management spots at the back. Logitech also includes software to program the macro and function keys. Also included in the box are extra keycaps for popular buttons such as W, A, S, D and there’s also a puller to easily switch out keycaps.
The Logitech G413 is set to release this month.
