ADATA UV310 Is A Metal, Waterproof 64GB Flash Drive
ADATA unveiled a new metal, waterproof USB flash drive featuring a large open loop at the end. The flash drive is a long drive to so don’t expect to leave it plugged into all day long. The aluminum design of the flash drive will look well paired with premium brush metal laptops like the MacBook Air or HP Spectre. The design is different than Samsung or WD which has gone with unique designs. It joins other relatively attractive flash drives from the company.
The outer coating is a zinc alloy and has a sand-blasted finish. This means the UV310 will not scratch when you throw it on your keychain or bag. The flash drive is drop and shock resistant with a rating against water and dust. It’s a durable and beautiful for a 64GB flash drive that you can use anywhere you go.

If you’re not looking for a 64GB flash drive, you can pick from 16GB and 32GB capacities. We’re not sure about the pricing yet, but we can expect the USB key to fall into the budget category. The drive supports USB 3.1 which will offer 5Gbps max. The metal body provides a light way for the USB key only to weigh 3.7 grams, much lighter than other alternatives.
I want to buy the USB key, but what’s stopping me is the USB Type-A port. I’d rather have a USB-C key with faster speeds and compatibility with all my devices. The USB Type-A key lets me use the flash drive with all the laptops around which still use the traditional USB port.
Tell us in the comments below what you think about the new USB flash drive! Are you going to buy one for your keychain or opt for another USB drive?
