Inno3D Announces GTX 1080 Ti iChill X3 and X4 GPU’s
Graphics card maker Inno3D has already posted a slight teaser of their newest Inno3D GTX 1080 Ti iChill alongside the announcement of the GTX 1080 Ti card by Nvidia. The Ti version of the GTX 1080 was announced on March 1st and uses the GP102-350 GPU with 11 gigabytes of GDDR5X VRAM.
The GTX 1080 Ti iChill X features an exterior with brushed aluminum elements. iChill is using their Herculez Armor backplate for extra protection and according to iChill it should improve cooling performance as well. The iChill X4 comes with four fans in total including a smaller fan that is placed on the side of the device. Both the iChill GTX 1080 Ti iChill X3 and X4 use PWM for fan control and feature a dual-slot design. The iChill X3 uses 8+6 pin PCIe PEG connectors, but the bigger and more impressive X4 needs more juice and requires a duo of 8 pin connectors.
Inno3D hasn’t announced clock speeds for its latest GTX 1080 Ti yet, but the cards have already been given a recommended price tag. The Inno3D iChill X3 and X4 will cost $699 and $759, respectively. The cards will show up in stores starting March 10th.
