Nintendo Switch eShop and News App Demoed In Video
Since the Nintendo Switch was unveiled, we haven’t seen the menu except for a glimpse here and there. In a new video, we see the Nintendo Switch eShop, news app, and the main menu demoed. We have a crash course on the how to navigate around the Switch, use the Switch eShop, and use the Switch News app.
At the most basic level, the Nintendo Switch eShop, news app, and the main menu isn’t that different from the Wii or Wii U. The biggest change to the news app which will populate the app with the latest Switch news. Any news about games or sales will link to the eShop where users can buy the new game or take advantage of a deal.

The Switch’s eShop looks much nicer and easier to navigate than the Wii U. There are only a few games in the store, and the virtual console hasn’t launched. Once there are more games, and the virtual console is out, we could see a less user-friendly eShop. Users will still have to remember to bring their SD cards with them in order to store their games and purchases.
After months of waiting, the Nintendo Switch officially launches tomorrow. We’ve started to see a few reviews trickle out. Most of the reviews are positive, but a few are skeptical of the device. The reviewers question whether the device can live up to its potential. There are only a few games at launch, a lot of the promise features aren’t available at launch.
