Lenovo Announces The Miix 320. A Budget Device Aimed At Chromebooks.
The Chromebook line has became a popular option for people seeking a more affordable alternative to traditional notebook PCs. That being said, even with the additon of the Android App Store, Chromebooks are still light on features when compared to conventional notebooks. After all, Chromebooks can do a lot and the Android apps have made them more versatile than ever, but they still fall behind Windows PCs when it comes to features and software compatibility. Due to these reasons, it make sense that some people would prefer a Windows notebook over a Chromebook.
Luckily for those people, Lenovo has announced a new two-in-one Windows notebook that offers the features of a Windows PC at a Chromebook price. Lenovo Miix 320 will go on sale in March and will cost $199. It will feature a 10.1-inch HD touchscreen display. The Miix 320 does not feature a keyboard so those who want one will have to buy an attachable one, but this does allow the Miix to function as a laptop and tablet.
Given the budget price, it should come as little surprise that this is hardly the most powerful piece of hardware on the market, but for budget-conscious consumers, it may do the job. In terms of processing power, the Miix 320 will feature the Intel Atom, Intel HD Graphics and 4GB of RAM.
