LG To Launch The LG G6 On March 10
When it comes to the Android market, Samsung and LG are two of the industry’s biggest players and it looks like LG is hoping to get a leg up on their competition by releasing the LG G6 a month prior to Samsung’s S8.
A “high-ranking official for a mobile network provider” told ETnews that LG is planning on releasing the G6 on March 10th. The same source stated that Samsung’s Galaxy S8 would not launch until April 21st of this year giving LG a month’s headstart.
Samsung has not announced the exact date on which they’ll officially reveal the Galaxy S8, but we know that LG will show off the G6 at the Mobile World Congress on February 26. That being said, there probably won’t be too many surprises in store since the G6 has been the topic of numerous leaks. The rumors point to a phone with a metal body, non-modular design, and a 5.7-inch display. One odd thing about the phone is that the screen’s resolution will reportedly be 18:9.

LG, like most companies, does not comment on rumors or speculation so the above specs should be taken with a grain of salt, but we would be surprised if something radically different was unveiled.
