WATCH: World’s First Nintendo Switch Unboxing Video
Who needs to wait until the Nintendo Switch launch day on March 3, 2017, when someone was sent a preordered unit, days before it’s set to launch? As it turns out, hiphoptherobot, a user on the NeoGAF forums received his unit accidentally by a retailer that shall remain nameless. FloKO then reached out to the user to take an unboxing video which the user was more than happy to oblige.
There’s even video footage of the Switch’s user interface as shown below:
Upon first glace, once you open the box you should see the dual Joy-Con controllers and the Switch screen. Underneath that, you see the manuals and documentation, the Joy-Con grip, an HDMI cable, A/C adapter, some wrist straps, and the Nintendo Switch dock.
It seems pretty cool, looks and runs smoothly. If this doesn’t give you the itch to get a Nintendo Switch, I don’t know what will.
Unfortunately, for the rest of us, we’ll still have to wait a couple more weeks before we can even have a chance to play with one in our own homes. Until then, these videos should give you a good idea of how to set up your unit once you get your hands on one. Enjoy!
