The first Kaby Lake motherboards have started showing up and these might take a while to hit the shelves but these Kaby Lake motherboards shown off by Supermicro have been updated on the companies website. 4 Kaby Lake motherboards in total have been added and we are going to talk about what each of them has to offer.
The flagship i7-7700K processor is set to come out early next year. The 200 series chipset will be coming out with the new processor. First of the Kaby Lake motherboards is the C7Z270-CG. This motherboard has a black and green theme. It comes with a PWM supply. The motherboard features four DDR4 DIMMs supports up to 64GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM.
The Kaby Lake motherboard features PCIe 3.0 x16 ports and three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. You also get two M.2 slots which support next-gen M.2-based SSDs. You will also find six SATA 6 ports. So you can have plenty of storage for your system.
Next in line, we have the C7Z270-PG. This Kaby Lake motherboard is aimed at gamers and it features a silver/black theme. You get the same storage configuration as mentioned above. The red and black C7Z270-CG-L motherboard costs under $200. For this price, you are getting an M.2 SATA port and six SATA 6 ports.
Last but not the least we have the small C7H270-CG-ML motherboard that is for small form factor machines. This has an H270 chipset in an mATX form factor. The board features 4 x DDR4 DIMMs and one M.2 port for fast storage.
