Microsoft Windows 10 Creators Update Coming Spring 2017
At the Surface event not only did Microsft announce the refresh of the Surface Book and the new all-in-one Surface Studio but we also got a sneak peek at the upcoming Windows 10 Creators Update that will be coming out in Spring 2017.
Though these are not all the features that will be featured in this Windows 10 Creators Update, we have a clear understanding of what the company is trying to pull off and where they are headed with this. Here is all that we know so far about the Windows 10 Creators Update.
The Windows 10 Creators Update is also known as the Redstone 2 update for those of you who have been following up on the latest news regarding Windows 10. This new update will stress on empowering content creators. This includes gamers, streamers, 3D animators and other people that come into this category.
With the Windows 10 Creators Update, you will get 3D features and applications that will be able to take advantage of 3D technology. At the event we go a demo of the new paint and what it could do with this new 3D tech. There were also a couple of other applications that were shown off at the event. This feature will be for everyone that has a Windows 10 OS running on their system.
Windows 10 Creators Update will also enable mainstream VR functionality. Microsoft has announced that their VR headset will start at $299, this is less than the cost of the PSVR.
This could make VR access to the masses easier as the price is very competitive as compared to other VR headsets in the market as of right now. There have also been rumors that if you already own an HTC Vive or Oculus Rift then you will be able to use those instead. We will still need to confirm that though.
