Google Pixel Could Be Apple’s Worst Nightmare; Same Profit Margins
Google Pixel was just released by the company and it is one of the new products that Google is going to be bringing to the table. As much as the device resembles the iPhone there is a market for it as there is a hige Android fan following around the world.
Findings have revealed that this phone could actually keep up with the Apple iPhone. Google is going for the Apple style model when it comes to the Google Pixel and reports claim that Google is enjoying the same kind of profit margin when it comes to the Google Pixel as compared to what Apple is making with the iPhone 7.
The cost to produce the Google Pixel is $285.75 and the phone retails for $769. This means that Google is making $483.25 on each Google Pixel Phone. These numbers do not include the cost of R&D and marketing of course.
The numbers speak for themselves and I should add that this is more than what Apple is making on the entry level 32 GB Apple iPhone 7. Keeping all these number in mind Apple could be looking at some serious competition from Google Pixel.
When it comes to the camera module the Pixel XL camera module costs $17.50 less than the iPhone 7. Another number that is worth looking at. And we have already seen that when it comes to camera performance the Pixel is out class.
What do you think about the Pixel and the iPhone 7?
