Final Fantasy XV Online Co-op, 200 Hours Needed To Beat The Game
It has almost been a decade but Final Fantasy XV is finally coming to reality. The game is set to release for the PS4 as well as Xbox One with a later release for PC as long as you don’t hope that it comes out soon. Final Fantasy XV online co-op mode has been confirmed by developers and this will allow 4 players to team up and enjoy the huge open world of Final Fantasy XV.
The game was not designed to be a multiplayer game but developers said that if enough people wanted it they would add the feature and it seems that enough people want it. The game has gone from barely running at 30 FPS on consoles to coming out next month. It has been a long time in the making but I hope all that waiting is worth it in the end.
According to official Final Fantasy XV Twitter:
“Director Tabata-san is talking about DLC for FFXV and has confirmed that online multiplayer is coming! Not only will there be online multiplayer but also episodes that focus on Gladio, Ignis & Prompto & they will all be playable in the DLC.”
This will be great news for people that have followed the series as well as the anime.
“The FFXV DLC will add brand new gameplay styles & experiences to the game so we hope you’ll look forward to lots of exciting things to come.”
Sources claim that it will take 200 hours to beat the game, that is not surprising considering how long it has taken to make it all in the first place and do it all over again. You would not want it to finish too soon now would you?
Tabata said that:
“[Final Fantasy XV] was developed as a single-player experience. If people really want something like that we can definitely consider. It’s very tough to convert a single-player game that was designed as such to a multiplayer game. Even though the possibilities aren’t 0% it’s complicated, let’s not discard it for the future,”
