Nvidia 1050Ti is out now and it has caused a lot of hype, all for good reason. The Nvidia 1050Ti provides the solution that gamers need for playing games at 60 FPS at 1080p. Whether or not the new GPU is the entry-level champion is up to you. But I will say that the GPU is promising and the low price point will be a huge incentive to buy this GPU over the competition. These Nvidia 1050Ti gaming benchmarks speak for themselves.
Here are specifications for the test bench used in these Nvidia 1050Ti gaming benchmarks.
- Intel’s Core i7-5960X

Nvidia 1050 and 1050Ti Specifications
The specifics for both the GTX 1050 as well as the Ti version can be seen as follows:
Nvidia 1050Ti Gaming Benchmarks: Ashes of the Singularity
Here we can see how the Nvidia 1050Ti performs as compared to previous generation cards and the AMD counterparts. It is clear that the Nvidia 1050Ti offers significant improvement over the previous generation 750Ti as well as the GTX 950.
If you turn down the settings a bit you will be able to get a much better experience. You need to remember that this is an entry-level GPU. It is still amazing what this little thing can do.
Nvidia 1050Ti Gaming Benchmarks: The Division
When it comes to The Division we see that even at the ultra preset the game is very much playable but you will get much better performance and a smoother gaming experience if you turn the preset down to high. Even at high the overall experience is great.
Nvidia 1050Ti Gaming Benchmarks: Far Cry Primal
When it comes to Far Cry primal we see the same performance difference as the Nvidia 1050Ti provides way better performance than the GTX 750Ti and we can see that the GPU is placed between the RX 460 and the RX 470. The RX 470 loses its lead when you turn up the graphics preset and at ultra settings you can see that the RX 470 only has a slight advantage over the Nvidia 1050Ti.
Nvidia 1050Ti Gaming Benchmarks: Gears of War 4
Gears of War 4 is one of the most anticipated games of the year and I found the GTX 1050 Ti perform beyond my expectations here. This GPU will let you play the AAA title at 60 FPS at high settings and if you turn down the graphics a bit the FPS count crosses well above the 60 FPS mark.
Nvidia 1050Ti Gaming Benchmarks: Hitman
Hitman is kind of an odd game and you really don’t know what to expect from the game when you are benchmarking it. At medium settings, we see that the GTX 1050Ti is able to keep the FPS count above 70 both in DX11 and DX12. If you have seen our DX12 benchmarking you will remember that Nvidia cards do not really perform well when running games with DX12 so this is not surprising.
Nvidia 1050Ti Gaming Benchmarks: Rise of the Tomb Rider
The Rise of the Tomb Raider is one of my personal favorites of the year and I have played this game on the Xbox One as well and I can say that the experience you get on the PC is far superior to what you get on the console. The GPU holds up pretty good and at medium setting will get you 60 FPS at 1080p but turn up the graphics to ultra and the game is still playable. You will still be getting 50 FPS on average.
Here the RX 470 takes the lead again but we can see that the 1050Ti is still a major improvement over the 750Ti as well as the GTX 950.
Nvidia 1050Ti Gaming Benchmarks reveal that the GPU is great for gaming at 60 FPS at 1080p. If that is all you want then get the cheapest variant of the Nvidia 1050Ti that you can find and you will be able to turn that pre-built PC into a decent gaming machine. The Nvidia 1050Ti offers significant improvement over integrated graphics as well as the previous generation GTX 750Ti. It is safe to say that the new Nvidia 1050Ti has the potential to take the place of the legendary 750Ti and that it could be the new budget champ from Nvidia.
Sales number will tell us how well the Nvidia 1050Ti sells but Nvidia 1050Ti gaming benchmarks make it very clear that this GPU has been placed between the RX 460 as well as the RX 470. For MSRP $150 this GPU offers great value for money. It might not be the best when you compare cost per frame but it is a great entry-level GPU to consider.
