Final Fantasy XV Will Not Use 4K And HDR On Playstation 4 Pro
We all thought that Final Fantasy XV would come out to support 4K and HDR on the PS4 Pro but that is not the case. Hajime Tabata, the director of the game, claims that the title would have been shaped to support the console but he was not given ample details that were required in order to do so and hence the game will not support 4K and HDR on Playstation 4 Pro.
Hajime Tabata openly stated that in order for Final Fantasy XV to support 4K and HDR on Playstation 4 Pro, the development team would need more time and would have to put in a lot of extra effort which is why as of right now, Final Fantasy XV is optimized for PS4 and not according to the Playstation 4 Pro.
He did say that Final Fantasy XV PS4 Pro version can be looked into in the future but nothing is for sure at the moment. Final Fantasy XV will come out on the 29th of November and will be available on the PS4 as well as the Xbox One.
What are your views regarding the Final Fantasy title and the fact that it will not be in 4K or HDR?
There has been some news regarding the support for PS4 Pro. According to Tabata there is still time and the game will be optimized for PS4 Pro when it comes out on November 29th. It seems that the game will take advantage of the hardware improvements offered by the PS4 Pro and Final Fantasy will look better on the new console.
This is great news and I am sure that Sony fans will appreciate this new update regarding the upcoming title. PS4 Pro has more to offer than the previous PS4 and we would like to see games take advantage of that.
