Should You Buy The GTX 1050 Ti Or Get Something Else?
The upcoming GTX 1050 Ti is creating a lot of hype all over the internet and all for good reason. The GTX 1050 Ti costs less than the GTX 950 and will be replacing the previous generation GPU. Another great feature is that you need no external power and the GPU draws all the needed power from the motherboard.
This can be a great option for people that have a pre-built PC and just want to slap in a GPU and do some light gaming. The GTX 1050 Ti is capable of delivering 60 FPS at 1080p for most titles that you would want to play. The GTX 1050 Ti, Nvidia claims is three times more powerful than the legendary 750 Ti GPU that was very successful in its time because of the lack of power needed.
For those who own a 750 Ti know of what I am talking about and the GTX 1050 Ti would be the logical upgrade. It is a 10 series GPU so you can get all the cool features like Ansel super screenshots, Fast Sync, simultaneous multi-projection, performance-boosting multi-resolution shading, and more.
There is also a non-Ti version that has 2 GB of memory and fewer CUDA cores but I think that if you are going to go with an entry level GPU and you are going to stick with the green team then you should stick with the GTX 1050 Ti.
The GPUs are going to come out on the 25th of October and then we will be able to see in-game performance numbers. If you are interested in getting one of these GPUs then stay tuned. We will be covering the benchmarks and in-game performance of the GTX 1050 Ti when the GPU comes out.
What do you think about the GTX 1050 Ti and will you get one of these GPUs when it comes out?
