Asus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti Pictured; Gigabyte Teasing Their Version
A reference design GeForce GTX 1050 Ti was leaked earlier this week and now we have an aftermarket version of the card, the Asus GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. If you had your doubts about the existence of this GPU then you can kiss them goodbye because there can be no more confirmation. The GeForce GTX 1050 Ti does in fact exist and word has it that it might be coming out by the end of the month.
Previously we talked about the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti benchmarks and the GPU scored 1895 points in 3DMark Fire Strike Ultra and 2513 points in 3DMark Time Spy. These seem to be decent numbers for a card that is going to be rivaling the RX 460 in the market. GeForce GTX 1050 and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti will be replacing the previous generation GTX 950.
The Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 will come with of 2GB VRAM, it will have 640 shaders and will be based on the GP107-300 Pascal-GPU. The second SKU, the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti will be based on a GP107-400 Pascal based GPU and will have 768 shader processors. The GPUs will be priced $119 and $139 respectively.
The GeForce GTX 1050 will have 1.9 TFlops of computing performance and this will be 2.2 TFlops for the GTX 1050 Ti model. Both GPUs will have a TDP of 75 Watt. There will be no need for an external power connector, however, there might be one on the GTX 1050 Ti for overclocking purposes.
