It is also factory overclocked and comes with an additional HDMI output for VR users. So what you are getting with the 1080 Xtreme Gaming Waterforce is a GTX 1080 that is powerful and is ready for liquid cooling out of the box. This is something that will appeal to a niche, but there is still need for it.
More and more companies have been pushing out there liquid cooling solutions for GPUs. We have seen water blocks, we have seen hybrid GPUs now we have the 1080 Xtreme Gaming Waterforce. In Gaming Mode you get a 1759 MHz base clock and 1898 MHz boost clock while in OC Mode you get 1784 MHz base clock and 1936 MHz boost clock.
You have 8 GB of memory GDDR5X running at a frequency of 10 GHz. For power, the GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming Waterforce WB has two 8-pin connectors. If you are looking for something that comes with a water block out of the box and has that extra HDMI for your VR gaming then this could be the answer for your problems.
Not only does the 1080 Xtreme Gaming Waterforce perform well it also looks pretty great as well. Gigabyte has gone with their traditional colors here and the black with the orange accents look pretty good. There is not much on the card so it is plain and clean.
As of right now we have no confirmation about how much the GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming Waterforce will cost but looking at the features that it has it is safe to say that it will not be cheap and it will be hitting the $700 mark at the very least.
