Falcon 8+ Commercial Drone is the First Intel Branded Commercial Drone
Drones are becoming the new thing as more and more people are testing them and trying them out. You see YouTubers, Vloggers, and photographers using them now as they are becoming cheaper and well made. Here we are talking about a commercial drone. The first Intel branded commercial drone the Falcon 8+ commercial drone.
This is an octocopter drone which is based on the popular AscTec Falcon 8 drone. This particular drone will target the North American markets. Intel has taken the already great design and made it better with their own tech. Now you get the Intel Cockpit for ground control along with Intel Powerpack smart batteries that will be providing the much-needed power in the Falcon 8+ commercial drone.
With all the AscTec technology on board, you would think that Intel would be better off buying the company itself and you are right in thinking so as Intel did just that in January. Here you will find pictures of the Falcon 8+ commercial drone and you can see that it is really cool.
The Intel Cockpit is a pretty impressive device on its own. It is waterproof and you can slap in a tablet in order to get into the controls and plan your flights. The drone itself has clever sensors to help you achieve your flight goals.
Intel has taken great interest in drone technology and has made a website dedicated to just that.
With the decline in PC sales, this could be Intel’s way out. That would justify all the interest the company is showing towards drones and drone technology.
The Falcon 8+ commercial drone is pretty great and you will have to try it our for yourself to see the difference. If you are a drone enthusiast then you should check it out when it comes out. We have no information about pricing and availability at this point.
