Gears of War 4 Running On The GTX 1080; Nvidia Demonstration
I really don’t need to talk about how much people are pumped about the Gears of War 4. Especially not that Microsoft has allowed players to be able to play Xbox games on the PC using the Play Anywhere feature. If you were wondering how this game looks on PC then look no further. In this video, you can see how well the Gears of War 4 performs with the Nvidia 10 series GPU, the GTX 1080.
I am a huge fan of the series but I have to say that shooting games are best played with a mouse and I am looking forward to playing the game on the PC. I will be looking forward to getting better control and getting rid of the pesky aim assistance that you get on the Xbox One.
Now the GTX 1080 is a top of the line GPU from Nvidia so you do expect top notch performance for the price that you are paying and that is what you get. The game is coming out tomorrow so you can pre-order it right now or get a copy when the game comes out.
If you must know the game does support DX12 and takes great advantage of the API. You will have to do some tinkering to run Gears of War 4 on DX12. If you do not want to mess around with the setting then you don’t have to either. The game runs pretty great on the GTX 1080 with default settings as well.
The video is in 1080p so you might not get the feel of what the actual gameplay would look like but by the looks of things I can safely say that it looks way better than what I have seen on the console so far. So another win for the PC master race. This time, it is for the Gears of War 4 .
Are you as excited about Gears of War 4 as I am?
