Samsung HDR FreeSync Display Coming Soon; 100Hz, 3440×1440
A beautiful Samsung HDR FreeSync display was shown off recently and it was a thing of beauty. It will be hitting stores later this year and you will be able to buy one of these. The Samsung HDR FreeSync display is one of the most high-end products that we have seen come out this year and there is no doubt that this is a premium display.
It uses DisplayPort 1.3 and Quantum Dot technology in order to provide full HDR output. With a 100Hz refresh rate and a 3440×1440 resolution, this display would be great for gaming and other forms of entertainment content. The company claims that this Samsung HDR FreeSync display has 125% sRGB colour gamut support and a 4 ms response time.
The model name for the Samsung HDR FreeSync display is CF791 and it comes in at 1800R curve. It also has 7W speakers for great multimedia. The display has a white back and comes with a cover for better cable management. It will support DisplayPort and HDMI inputs.
Hopefully, the Samsung HDR FreeSync display will be the first of many HDR displays to hit the market later this year. Samsung is very innovative in their products and that shows across the board and not only in a single product category. The Note 7 was recently launched and it got the appreciation that it deserved and now we have this Samsung HDR FreeSync display to look forward to.
