Apple’s 10.5-inch iPad Pro Coming In 2017; OLED iPad After That
As of right now, Apple’s iPad comes in three different sizes. You can get the Mini at 7.9-inches. Then there is the iPad Pro that comes in two different sizes. You have the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch versions. Does Apple need to release another size for the iPad Pro? I think not but Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo begs to differ. According to him, next year we will be seeing a 10.5-inch iPad Pro.
Ming-Chi Kuo claims that a 10.5-inch iPad Pro will be coming out next year. Although it might be a good move for the company but two sizes are plenty plus more is not always better. It is a premium product after all.
Besides the 10.5-inch iPad Pro, the Apple analyst also claims that Apple is also working on a cheaper version of the iPad. Here again, you are stuck in an odd dilemma. Apple and cheap do not sound right in the same sentence. So where are these speculations coming from?
I am no Apple analyst and the guy could be right but the claims do not stop there. After the 10.5-inch iPad Pro and the cheaper version of the iPad, Ming-Chi Kuo claims that in 2018 Apple would be releasing an OLED iPad. Out of all these speculations, this one seems to make the most sense and I can agree with this one. Yes, we have heard about Apple shifting to OLED screens. We heard about the company using the OLED screens in future laptops and iPhones that will be releasing next year.
Right now, only the Apple Watch features this technology and as more and more companies move to OLED it just seems right for Apple to meet with the times and get back up to pace with modern tech.
How do you feel about a 10.5-inch iPad Pro?
