Upcoming Samsung Exynos 8895 Processor Could Be A 4GHz Monster
Word has it that the company is currently testing the upcoming Samsung Exynos processor. Speculations suggest that this would be the Exynos 8895. The Exynos 7420 and the Exynos 8890 featured in the Note 5 and Note 7 respectively are both made on a 14nm node. Word has it that this upcoming Samsung Exynos processor, the Exynos 8895 will be made on a 10nm node. Hence, this has the potential to take a huge leak forwards in the mobile industry.
What can we expect from this Upcoming Samsung Exynos Processor? Well, in short, we can expect an increase and performance and a decrease in power consumption. That would mean an increase in battery life for smartphones, multitasking as well as faster performance.
Word has it that Samsung is testing the Exynos 8895 at 4GHz which is huge and if this processor does come out it will surely wipe out all the competition as it would have taken a huge leap forward in terms of mobile processing power. This would mean a 30% increase in performance as compared to the previous 8890 featured in the Note 7.
Although the Note 7 has been recently announced, the device is very powerful and the processor can keep up with all that power, multitasking and so much more. So you can imagine what kind of power this upcoming Samsung Exynos 8895 processor would be capable of if you think about the Note 7 and add 30% more power to the equation. This could be a game changer for Samsung and it could take the company to the top and give them a huge lead as compared to the rivals.
We might be able to see this new Samsung Exynos 8895 processor in the Galaxy S8 and the next Note that will be coming out. Most probably the Note 8.
