Jide Technology Remix OS has an advantage over Chrome OS in terms of support for the existing PCs, which will continue well in the future. Chrome OS on the other hand is only available on new systems, and only Google will provide access to PC optimized apps.
However, Chrome OS could put some pressure on Remix OS with its native Android Apps. Chrome OS is an better alternative to Microsoft Windows or any other full desktop operating systems. Remix OS will also have to differentiate itself from Chrome OS in terms of what it can offer.
Remix OS has another advantage, this OS is closer to the community compared to Chrome OS. So in long term Remix OS could feature improvements or functionalities closer to what user wants.
