iPhone 7 Pro Images Leaked, Big Upgrade Over 7 Plus?
According to some recent leaks, Apple is all set to release not two but three different models of the upcoming smartphone, iPhone 7. All three models, iPhone 7, 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro are expected to launch in September. Along with this leaked information, there are also some leaked images with side by side comparison of all three handsets.
These photos were originally released by nowhereelse.fr which has a pretty great track record and authenticity when it comes to such leaked information. From the images it seems as if iPhone 7 Pro is even bigger, thus expensive, than iPhone 7 Plus and would definitely be the flagship phone leading Apple’s upcoming smartphone lineup.
The iPhone 7 Plus is already a massive phone but the images show the Pro model to be even bigger. A lot of people are still reluctant to upgrade to Plus models of previous iPhones and stick to the 4.7-inch models so switching to a screen even bigger than a phablet might be an issue.
Like some earlier rumors suggested, it looks as if iPhone 7 Pro is the model that will be featuring the dual lens rear camera while the other two models will have a normal one. It also has Smart Connector, which allows devices connected with the phone to simultaneously share power and data and is currently only available in Apple’s iPad Pro range.
Lack of these features might be a down side for some people who aren’t interested in paying a huge premium for the Pro model but definitely are in the market for a substantial upgrade.
There is no denying the fact that this is definitely the boldest move Apple has made for its smartphone lineup in quite a while, announcing three different models simultaneously and ensuring that feature upgrades are substantial ones when it comes to members of the same generation.
Whether these leaked images turn out to be true or not remains to be seen. While all the leaks from this source over the past 2 years, regarding Apple and Samsung products, has turned out to be completely true many people still rely on the final word of one source. That source is KGI Securities’ Ming-Chi Kuo who is considered as the best Apple analyst and Kuo has not made any mention of the Pro model.
