RX 480 Vs GTX 1060 Games Benchmarks: Which Is The Final Winner?
The RX 480 Vs GTX 1060 war has been going on for a while now even though the card was not even released till now. The card will be launching today but we already have some performance benchmarks regarding the two GPUs. The war between AMD and Nvidia has been on as long as we can remember and it is a never ending one. But we can find out for now if there is a new budget king or if the RX 480 is still keeping the throne.
These benchmarks were found on hkepc and they show results of the RX 480 Vs GTX 1060 war. There is a clear winner which you can see for yourself.
First of all, we have the FireStrike, FireStrike Extreme and the FireStrike Ultra performance benchmarks and the RX 480 Vs GTX 1060 competition is very close in this one. The GTX 1060 does have a minor advantage in these benchmarks as it passes the RX 480 in all three of the scores.
Then we have performance benchmarks of the RX 480 Vs GTX 1060 in the following games:
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
- Crysis 3
- Fallout 4
- Grand Theft Auto V
- Hitman DX12
All these games have been tested at max settings and at 1440p as well as 4K to max out these GPUs and see what they are made of. I have to say that the battle, RX 480 Vs GTX 1060 was a very close one but the GTX 1060 takes the win with a small lead. No matter how small the difference was a win is a win (for the fans of Nvidia atleast).
There you have it folks. It was a long run but the GTX 1060 is the new budget king after all. It was a good run AMD but the numbers speak for themselves here.
