Apple iPhone 7 Body Compared With iPhone 6S In New Video
Like every year, Apple is expected to launch a new smartphone this year, the iPhone 7. According to rumors about this new phone, which may or may not be known as iPhone 7, it will look very similar to Apple’s currently available iPhone 6S. In fact, a new video emerged recently to further solidify these rumors.
The video compares a dummy version of iPhone 7 to an existing iPhone 6S showcasing its size and the exact external differences in the design Apple has adopted this year. Since there is no way to check the authenticity of the video creator or the dummy, it may very well be a fake or a very early prototype and the final version of iPhone 7 might look a lot different.
Rumors have pointed toward the iPhone 7 having improved antenna lines, a bigger camera and associated bump, and a lack of a headphone jack. The comparison video, posted on Chinese site Weibo, appears to include all of these external changes to the iPhone 7.
While the camera is noticeably bigger for iPhone 7 according to the video, the rest of the design is so eerily similar that at a passing glance it looks exactly like an iPhone 6S. There were already rumors of this design choice along with others that suggest a more significant design change would be in store for the phone to be released in 2017.
Some other recent leaked images seem to suggest that the device will not feature a 3.5mm earphone jack which might lead some to believe the Apple might be abandoning this standard stereo jack for good.
In its place the phone will probably feature support for Lightning based earphones making those another expensive purchase alongside the iPhone 7.
Even after all these rumored changes, Apple still insists on sticking to its smaller screen size which may or not sit right with people who want bigger devices now. What are your thoughts on these choices? Share them below.
