Razor Abyssus V2 Revealed, The Cheapest Razor Mouse You Can Buy
Razor has launched Abyssus V2, which is an updated version of the original Abyssus. Most of the Razor mice are nor budget friendly, however, the Razor Abyssus V2 is an exception and designed to appeal to those gamers who just want the basics.
The Razor Abyssus V2 retains the ambidextrous design of its predecessor, and the design is suitable for range of grip styles including palm, claw, fingertips. The contours on the side combined with rubber side grips, seems to make the gripping of the mouse more comfortable.
However, this is by all means a Razor mouse, the left and right click buttons have a raised ridge on the edges. The design of Razor Abyssus V2 is also used in another Razor mouse, the Razor Mamba. This is a small mouse measuring only 117 x 64 x 38mm and has a weight of 80 grams.
The mouse uses what Razor calls a true 5,000DPI optical sensor, but the company did not specified that which sensor this mouse uses. The lightning options in the mouse are also limited, given that it is supposed to be a entry level mouse.
Instead of using RGB, razor has utilized only three different colors green, teal, and blue, and the illumination is confined to just mouse scroll and palm rest logo. There are only four buttons on Abyssus V2, including DPI switcher which allows the users to switch between 5 different DPIs.
The Razor Abyssus V2 is available for $49.90, but still it is a little expensive compared to other brand’s entry level mice. But whatever maybe the case, it is the cheapest Razor mice in the market for you to buy.
