Rumor: Apple iPhone 7 Will Have a Force Touch Home Button
Rumor has it that the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 could have a different home button or not a button at all to start with. The iPhone home button has become better since the first generation iPhone but still when you see a broken iPhone it is most likely that the issue is with the home button.
Thought the round fingerprint scanner button is better than what we had in the iPhone 4 and later on in the iPhone 5, it is still a problem. One that most iPhone users experience. Replacing it is also very expensive. Though Apple has given us the on-screen home button but that is no answer as compared to a physical iPhone home button.
With the upcoming Apple iPhone 7, we might see a touch pad that has force touch instead on an actual physical home button. This will fix the issue. While having a physical home button is all well and good it does go wrong easily.
With this force touch home button in the iPhone 7, you will get the satisfaction of a physical home button but it will not go wrong as often.
This could solve the problem. The force touch tech does feel like you are getting a physical response from the screen. How well can Apple use this tech in the upcoming Apple iPhone 7? Right now force touch is more of a luxury and has little if not no practical use at all. It is kind of a right click for your phone.
We all want to see more functionality in terms of the force touch and we might get that in the Apple iPhone 7 which is coming out this fall. So how many of you would want this feature to be in iPhone 7? Let us know in the comments below.
