MacBook Pro 2016 Will Take The Finger Print Scanner from iPhone
Security is an increasing concern for the consumer. A laptop is a very personal thing indeed and people are always concerned about the data that they have on their laptops. The upcoming MacBook is no different. The MacBook Pro 2016 will adopt features from the iPhone. Which feature in particular? The fingerprint scanner. The MacBook Pro 2016 will feature a fingerprint scanner as seen on the iPhone.
Where will you find this scanner? Most probably near or next to the trackpad. It is also likely that the trackpad itself will be able to scan your finger. We have seen this tech before and Apple has been a step behind in this matter but this could all change with the MacBook Pro 2016.
It would be great to see Apple trying to make an effort to make it to today’s modern requirements. Yes, their build is great but that is not everything. The MacBook Pro 2016 will make security even better on the Macbook. I am not an Apple user but I know HP and other manufacturers have been offering this feature in their laptops for a long while now.
It is pretty odd that a company that markets itself on the basis of innovation is so far behind in terms of hardware specifications. This is not only true for the MacBook Pro 2016 but also for the iPhone as well. iPhone users will get specs that android users have had for a long long time.
Processors for the 15 inch MacBook Pro 2016 are as follows:
- Core i7-6770HQ: A 2.6GHz quad-core processor
- Core i7-6870HQ: A 2.7GHz quad-core processor
- Core i7-6970HQ: A 2.8GHz quad-core processor
Having a fingerprint scanner power button would be the best option of them all. These are still rumors and we will get more legit information as the product comes closer to release. As it is with Apple we might also not get a leak at all.
