AMD Radeon RX 480: 6 Manufacturers, 8 Models with Strong Supply to Meet Demand
The AMD Radeon RX 480 has gone out to testers and reviewers and will be for sale starting 29th of June. AMD has a ton of stock so you need not to be worried about not getting one on launch day.
Although on release, only the reference design for the AMD Radeon RX 480 will be available, there are still partners that will be rebranding the cards. They will most probably have their own different clock setting as we have seen a few leaks about them.
We have already covered all the leaked benchmarks and some gaming benchmarks that were revealed on the internet. The official reviews will come out in a day or two when the AMD Radeon RX 480 finally goes on sale. Less than a day is left now.
Saphire and XFX are releasing both the AMD Radeon RX 480 4 GB and 8 GB versions. While there are other partners that are only releasing the 4 GB version, namely Asus, PowerColor, Gigabyte and MSI. XFX advises users to have a 550W power supply unit while the others say you will be fine with just 500W.
We have also seen the leaked pictures of the Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 480 that came up on the internet and that confirms that they will be releasing the Radeon RX 480 4 GB version at launch day. How these pictures got leaked is a mystery. As reviewers and testers are not allowed to share their findings till launch day, usually.
The wait is almost over and with less than a day to go, we will soon be able to see the AMD Radeon RX 480 in all its glory. Over a month of hype created by AMD over their new series of budget oriented GPUs. Now we need to see if these GPUs can make the mark and meet the expectations of the people.
