DirectX 12 is setting the new bar for gaming now. So it was a matter of time before someone came up with a program to test the limits of your setup on the new DirectX 12. Who better to do that than the long trusted and well reputed 3DMark.
The Time Spy DirectX 12 benchmark was recently teased by Futuremark. The Time Spy benchmark features visually rich scenes that test the limits of DirectX 12 on your system. This program is also compatible with new displays that go well beyond 4K technology.
The Time Spy DirectX 12 3DMark Benchmark is most probably a add on feature to the 3DMark 2013 suite. The existing users of the program get basic access to this feature. You do get options to get access to advance features as well as the whole program.
According to Futuremark Time Spy, the benchmark was created with help from partners like AMD, Intel, Nvidia and Microsoft etc. 3DMark is the go to program for benchmarking.
It is such a reliable program that even some of the leaks we have seen over the internet are of 3DMark. This is another step forward for the program and we are seeing that it is adapting to the new technology.
