PS VR Aim Controller; The Zapper For The VR Generation
Sony has showed us some very cool things at this E3 2016. We saw some games and hardware. Farpoint was shown at the event along with a controller that could be more interesting than the game itself called the PS VR Aim controller.
Impulse Gear worked alongside SIE to develop the controller in order to bring a complete experience and way to play games. The end result is a cool looking gun style PS VR Aim controller. This is kind of a Nintendo Blaster for the VR generation. According to Impulse Gear the PS VR Aim controller will provide a more accurate and immersive experience in the game.
PS VR Aim controller gives gamers direct 1 to 1 tracking which allows gamers to aim in Farpoint just as they would in actual life. How the user holds the PS VR Aim controller and where it is aimed in the real world is where weapon is held and aimed in the game.
The Farpoint game for which the PS VR Aim controller was developed seems really amazing. It is space adventure that is set on a hostile alien planet. The core of the game is that the player crashes on the planet and has to fight the aliens in order to survive. As you proceed in the game you explore the alien planet and try to get off of the planet.
Both PS VR Aim controller and Farpoint are designed to be compatible with the PS VR game system that is coming out in October this year for $399. You need the PS4 so the $399 is not your total cost for VR gaming. At launch, there will be 50 games for the PS VR device according to the Sony conference at E3 2016.
This is a huge step forward in VR gaming and will provide an immersive experience for gamers all over the world that can afford it.
