Lenovo Ideacentre Y900 Desktop PC has GTX 1080 Among Other Things
Lenovo has launched first ever gaming PC with the innovative Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080, Lenovo Ideacentre Y900. Lenovo made the announcement at Computex 2016.
This beast of a gaming PC also has 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor and also can be upgraded easily.
According to official Lenovo website:
Built for hardcore gamers, the Lenovo Ideacentre Y900 puts control back in your hands with the latest Intel® Core™ i Series processing power and NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX graphics. So go ahead and crank up every setting to the max – and take your gaming to new levels.
GTX 1080 is the most powerful GPU at the show, offering 2x the performance and 3x the efficiency of GTX Titan. The GTX 1080 has a clock speed of 1700 Mhz and only consumes 180W of power. The GTX 1080 has a increased bandwidth of 320 GB/sec and power efficiency which nonparallel.
GTX 080 is based on GP104 GPU and features 2560 CUDAcores and 8gb of GDDRX memory with 256-bit bus interface.
With this level of efficient card and 6th gen Core i7, I believe this PC will have no problems playing games on ultra settings at 4K resolution.
The Lenovo Ideacentre Y900 will be available in June, and the price for this PC starts at $849.99.
However, that is not the only surprise Computex 2016 gave us, during the event ASUS revealed its VR headset, and gave us the first look of the upcoming mobile powered VR headset.
It is speculated that ASUS VR will be powered by ZenFone 3 flagship smartphone. Other features include a touchpad on the side of the headset and a knob on the top side of the headset so that users can adjust the focus.
