Custom GTX 1080 Cards By ASUS And Zotac Pictured In All Of Their Glory
First pictures of custom GTX 1080 have been leaked online, which give us a good look at upcoming overclocked beasts. These custom OEM cards will be revealed along with the release of Founders Edition of the GTX 1080.
ASUS ROG Strix Geforce GTX 1080
The first custom GTX 1080 whose pics have been leaked is the ROG Strix Geforce GTX 1080 from ASUS. It is evident from the leaked pictures that ASUS is going with the a triple fan design with their Aura LED technology.
ASUS have been featuring its Aura LED in all of its products this generation, but it comes down to the users, whether they wish to use it or not.
ASUS ROG Strix Geforce GTX 1080 offers a totally custom design which is built with ASUS’s Auto Extreme technology to deliver high quality components. This allows better stability and overclocking capabilities for end user. This card has two stacks of aluminum fin blocks and comes with a backplate.
Zotac GeForce GTX 1080 AMP! and AMP! Extreme
Zotac will not release one but two versions of its custom GTX 1080 that standout on their own: the GeForce GTX 1080 AMP! and AMP! Extreme.
The GeForce GTX 1080 AMP! is an impressive card with IceStorm fans and Carbon ExoArmor, power Boost, Freeze and Spectra. The card’s PCB uses high quality components such as the Power Boost 2.0 capacitors, that allow stable supply to the core when running under overclocked situations.
The AMP! version of GTX 1080 is impressive until you see Zotac Geforce GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme. This card has a triple fan design, and has a PCB that reads “Push To The Limits.” Most probably Zotac will be aiming this card at the extreme PC enthusiasts.
Both cards have display ports configuration of HDMI 2.0b, Display Port 1.4 and DVI-D which are identical to the reference card.
Not only these, Zotac Geforce GTX 1080 PGF Edition has also been pictured. The packaging is designed for the Chinese market and we have no information yet regarding the availability of this card outside of China.
This seems to be the same model that was teased by ZOTAC few weeks ago, although this picture does not show either side of the card.
