AMD Polaris 10 Based Radeon R9 480X 3DMARK 11 Scores Leaked
So far AMD has kept a tight lid about its Polaris GPUs regarding their performance and other things. The only information AMD has given to the fans is that Polaris 10 will be targeting the mainstream GPU market.
Other than the information above, there are just rumors circulating on the Internet regarding both the Polaris 10 and Polaris 11 GPUs. Some rumors claim that Polaris 10 will deliver R9 390 performance levels for less than $300, while others rumors claim that Polaris 11 will deliver performance close to R7 370.
Now, some benchmarks have emerged on the web, apparently of the Polaris 10. The benchmarks do not mention the Polaris GPUs by name but by an ID. If we presume that these are Polaris 10 GPUs, then given the performance from the benchmarks chances are it’s going to be Radeon R9 480X.
The 3DMARK 11 score for AMD Polaris 67DF:C7 is 18060 points, while the Polaris 67DF:C4 scored 16164 points. There is also a Crossfire Polaris 67DF:C7 which scores 25803 points.
It is important to mention that these scores are not official so should be taken with a grain of salt.
AMD is expected to reveal key details on Polaris 10 & 11 GPUs at an event in Macau taking place between 26th – 29th May. But, the event will be closed which means the information shared there will be under embargo. Instead, Polaris announcement will come in a major press event at Computex, probably on June 1st.
