GALAX GTX 1070 Retail Packaging Spotted, Along With PCB Design
Internet is flooding with rumors and information regarding Nvidia’s recently revealed GTX 1080 and GTX 1070. Now, another leak has made its way to the web: the Chinese GALAX GTX 1070 retail packaging has leaked out.
The leak comes from VideoCardz, who received the image from an “add-in-board partner.”
Not only the retail packaging of GALAX GTX 1070, a rendered PCB design for the card has also been released. The PCB of GTX 1070 shows quite a similarity with GTX 1080 PCB, however, 1070 uses PG411 board with GDDR5 memory versus GTX 1080’s PG413 board.
In the 3D rendered images, the GTX 1070 board looks more complicated and fuller as compared to GTX 1080, but these are not final designs. Hopefully, Nvidia will adjust the number of components in its final design.
GALAX has recently released a teaser featuring four creepy figures, The teaser is an image in which the red figure represents GTX 1070 and the clown in blue represents the GTX 1080.
However, it is unknown that which card the other two models represent, but is speculated that the other two represent GTX 1060 and GTX 1050.
Recently, GALAX unveiled its budget friendly custom cooled GTX 1080, from which it has also removed the back plate.
