Forza Motorsport 6 Apex New Update Improves Performance On Multiple GPUs
Forza Motorsport 6 Apex has been released for Windows 10 and it marks the first time that a Forza game has been released for PC. The game is in open beta and comes with a long list of issues, as it is still in development. But, there is also some good news: Forza Motorsport 6 Apex has received a new update that improves its stability and performance.
Since its release, Forza Apex has received two updates. The first update addressed the issues of stability and performance reported by users, and the second update which just came out focuses on drivers and supporting multiple GPUs on a system.
As per the changlog, this update features fix for correctly detecting multiple GPUs and info on drivers.
Traditionally, Forza games have always had cutting edge graphics, and developer Turn 10 claimes that Forza Motorsport 6 Apex’s performance on heavy-duty gaming PCs will be unprecedented. Considering this, gamers will find this update very welcoming as the game can now take advantage of the system’s full hardware capabilities.
To further improve performance of games on Windows 10, Microsoft development team has unlocked frame rate in UWP, and according to Turn 10, this feature will be included in the future update of the game.
Recently, digital foundry conducted a performance analysis of Forza Motorsport 6 Apex for Nvidia GTX 970 and AMD R9 390, where the latter took the lead in terms of performance.
