Overwatch Beta: PC vs PS4 vs Xbox One Graphics Comparison Is Here
Overwatch beta is now available on both PC and console, and we’re sure some of you guys might be wondering how the game performs across the two platforms. The good news is Digital Foundry has published a video comparing graphics of all three versions of Overwatch that will help you decide by yourself.
From the looks of the things, the differences aren’t too obvious. The PC version has a few advantages when it comes to lighting which does appear to be a bit brighter, as well as outputs better shadows, extra reflections and improved texture filtering.
Apart from that, you won’t be able to spot any other difference. Of course, there is an obvious benefit of playing on the PC, and that is you’ll be able to crank the graphics way up making the game look better than on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Overwatch open beta content is what the full game will have on launch, which means it is more or less indicative of the final version, in terms of content. The open beta runs from the 5th to the 9th of May with a release set for May 24 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
