Valve is Considering Revisions For Steam Controller
The company announced its Steam controller for PC way back in 2013 and has since made a number of changes to its design. According to Valve, we can expect to see in the near future. It isn’t clear what these changes will be but we do know they won’t be offering new features. The game changes will be related to its look and feel. Valve said:
In the future, we are working on a hardware revision to the controller to improve look and feel. But we’re pretty happy with the feature set we have now and do not intend to drastically change it, or even change it at all.
Maybe we’ll throw extra features in here or there, but the controller’s not gonna grow a new touchpad, or a new set of buttons, or a new major feature
Valve released its Steam Controller last year, there are around 400,000 of these in the market so feedback is available in abundance. Valve will make changes to the controller not only based on dev ideas but your feedback as well.
