Gigabyte GTX 960 Xtreme Offers 10% Performance Improvement Over the Reference Design
Gigabyte has added a new graphics card to their Xtreme Gaming lineup, called the GV-N960XTREME-4GD. Based on an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 GPU, the new Xtreme Gaming edition is equipped with 4GB of GDDR5 memory, and as the name implies, features an aggressive OC and Gaming modes.
As an icing on the cake, the new GTX 960 Xtreme comes with customizable RGB lighting of the twin fans as well as top decal plate.
According to Gigabyte, the GV-N960XTREME-4GD offers around 10 per cent performance improvement over the GTX 960 reference design. Further, the card includes the WindForce 2X cooling system with a pair of alternate spinning 90 mm fans and pure copper heatpipes.
For those who like to show off their PC systems can enjoy RGB LEDs that cover fans and the ‘XTREME GAMING’ logo on the top of the cooler shroud. These RGB LEDs can be customized via software, allowing you to choose from 16.7 million colors.
In addition to this, GTX 960 Xtreme offers great overclocking capability to potential users thanks to Gigabyte ‘GPU Gauntlet’ sorting system. The card features factory-overclocked speeds of 1304 MHz core and 1367 MHz GPU boost, with the memory running at reference 7010 MHz.
