HITMAN 2016 SweetFX Vastly Enhances the Overall Image Quality; Comparison Screenshots
According to some new comparison screenshots of HITMAN 2016, the game greatly gains better visual appeal from SweetFX.
It goes without saying that the base version of HITMAN 2016 looks a tad muzzy. However, thanks to Reshade, PC users can gain additional image sharpening as well as some extra graphical tweaks.
The comparison screenshots that can be seen in the galleries attached below are based on the Enchanced Clarity and Lighting reshade config by Panopticon, however, there are some things to bear in mind as stated by Panopticon:
Trying to stay true to the original color palettes and tone, but making the image clearer and giving a boost to the overall lighting. [I] can’t seem to get SMAA working in the SFX settings so I’m using the in-game one.
Note: I can currently not change my in-game texture settings from Low to Medium or High because the developers have locked our ability to change it depending on your hardware – will probably be patched – so all screenshots are taken with [Low Textures] – if you have it on [High Texture] then that’s what you’ll play with, this does not change that! – though in some screenshots, it does seem like it’s on Medium or High, very odd but nice.
