ASUS VivoMini VM65 and VM65N Mini PCs Announced
Powered by up to sixth generation Intel Core processors, the new ASUS VivoMini VM65 and VM65N Mini PCs are the latest that the Taiwanese multinational computer hardware and electronics company.
As announced by the company a couple of hours ago, these mini PCs build their respect for being a range of sub-2-liter PCs that come packing DDR4 RAM GeForce graphics and Skylake processors, all on top of 4K UHD visuals.
ASUS, in the past has released their VivoPC models namely VM62N, VM62, VM60, VM42, VM40B, VC62B, VC60V, and VC60, but the VivoMini brand series introduced now brings you the ASUS VivoMini VM65N and VM65.
Let’s talk specs now for the ASUS VivoMini VM65 and VM65N now. ASUS says that the mini PCs are “powered by a choice of 6th-generation Intel Core processors and feature up to 16GB DDR4 RAM to provide users with fast and efficient performance for daily multitasking computing.” And here’s what you get for storage:
VivoMini VM65 Series mini PCs feature Vivo DualBay, a unique dual-storage design that can accommodate a combination of up to two 2.5-inch SSDs and HDDs for added storage flexibility. This gives users the option to mix and match SSD or HDD options for an ideal balance between larger storage capacities or faster data access speeds. Models without Vivo DualBay will have a single 3.5-inch HDD.
The VM65N uses Nvidia GeForce 930M Optimus and has the built-in SonicMaster speakers just like the rest of the models in the series. Talking of ports, it has two SuperSpeed USB 3.1 and four USB 3.0 ports which means keyboards, mice, printers and mobile devices are all welcome.
Moving on, there is a 4-in-1 card reader, a DisplayPort++, HDMI ports and an audio-output jack. Just about the thing you were thinking of, the ASUS VivoMini VM65 and VM65N have a Intel Wi-Fi card and also a built-in Bluetooth 4.0.
