Gigabyte Unveils F2A88X-D3HP, New Mid-range Motherboard with FM2+ socket
Gigabyte has unveiled a new mid-range motherboard under their “Ultra Durable” motherboard series, called the F2A88X-D3HP. Based on AMD’s A88X chipset, the new ATX motherboard comes in a simple, all black design with labels written in yellow.
Specs wise, the F2A88X-D3HP features 4 DDR3 DIMM slots, supporting up to 64GB of system memory (DDR3 2400(OC). It is equipped with 24-pin ATX and an 8-pin ATX power connectors, 8 SATA 6Gb/s connectors, 1 PCI Express x16 slot, 1 PCI Express x16 slot running at x4, 3 PCI Express x1 slots, and a 2 PCI legacy slots.
Other features include Realtek ALC892 codec with 7.1 channel audio, and Realtek GbE LAN chip. In addition, the new motherboard from Gigabyte supports AMD’s Infinity technology, as well as a 2-way AMD CrossFire configuration that allows for multi-graphics card setups.
For output ports, the motherboard provides two USB 3.1 ports (which are both type-A and type-C), four USB 3.0 ports, one HDMI 1.4, dual-link DVI-D, and VGA ports.
