ADATA Unveils 2TB HD650X External Hard Drive for Xbox One, With USB 3.0 Interface
ADATA has just launched two new external hard drives; the HD650X hard drive for Xbox One and the HD710M camouflage-styled drive. Both drives come in capacity up to 2TB and connect via USB 3.0.
Featuring a green color scheme that matches Xbox visual style, the HD650X is based on ADATA’s 3 layer rugged theme that protects against shocks and drops while delivering high speed storage expansion for Xbox gamers.
Xbox One currently ships with 1TB drives, which becomes insufficient for most gamers as major games release in at above 50GB per title. Gamers are quickly left with just one option, that is to delete previously-installed games in order to get the new content. This is where ADATA HD650X comes in.
The hard drive allows users to choose between 2TB, doubling available storage on their Xbox. It is compatible with Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles.
The HD710M on the other hand is based on the ruggedized HD710 series, and complies with IEC IP68 standard and US Army MIL-STD-810G 516.6 drop test specifications for extreme shock-resistance. The drive features woodland camouflage skin ensuring high-grade water, dust, and shock proofing.
Both HD650X and HD710M are compatible with operating systems, including Windows 10 and the New Xbox One Experience. They work in driverless plug with USB 3.0 interface delivering up to 5Gbps data rates.
