InFocus Releases Kangaroo Plus Smartphone-Sized PC for $170
In the size of a conventional smartphone, InFocus brings you an even more powerful mini PC than their existing model. say hello to Kangaroo Plus, the newer sibling of the original Kangaroo Mini that they had released back in October last year.
This one doubles the RAM and storage size of Kangaroo Mini by giving you 4GB LPDDR3 memory and a 64GB eMMC storage space. For a size that fits in your hand, this is a rather solid pocket-sized PC.
The ultra-portable mobile desktop PC can be connected to the peripherals that would turn it into a full blown computer you can use with keyboard, mouse and monitor. Also, it has Intel Cherrytrail (Z8500) SOC, clocked at 1.44GHz.
However, it does not come with an operating system installed on it, you will have to spend some extra cash on that or put in Linux.
For the ones who wish to avoid reading through lines in search of specifications, here’s what you get inside the mini PC for your 170 bucks:
- Intel Atom x5 z8500 Processor
- 4GB LPDDR3 Memory 64GB eMMC storage
- Kangaroo Dock included
- Finger Print Reader
- Non OS version (Windows 10 Compatible)
