CybertronPC Launches New CLX Line Of High-end Desktops and Monster Gaming Laptops
The Kansas-based system builder CybertronPC has unveiled its new line of custom desktop systems and laptops targeted to tech-savvy geeks as well as hardcore gamers.
Lunched under the new CybertronPC Luxury Experience (CLX) brand, the new lineup consists of three desktops and two notebooks. The desktop systems include the RA, Horus and Scarab, with all of them featuring default CPU liquid cooling options, overclocked options, and custom paint options.
CybertronPC didn’t reveal much details about their new CLX desktops, except that the Ra desktop is the brand’s full-sized flagship, the Horus is a mid-tower option, and the Scarab is a small form-factor, Mini-ITX line.
The other two PCs in the CLX family are the Osiris and the Anubis, both of which are the high-end gaming notebooks. The Osiris is a beastly 17-inch desktop replacement machine. It can be configured to run Intel’s Skylake Core i7-6700K processor which has an unlocked multiplier, meaning capable of achieving a higher clock speed for better performance.
Moreover, the Osiris is able to accommodate two NVIDIA GTX 980 graphics processors in an SLI configuration, as well as support up to 64GB of DDR4 memory.
Finally, the CLX Anubis is a lightweight 15.6-inch gaming PC, which sports Intel’s latest quad-core Core i7 6700HQ processors, paired with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M mobile GPU. Both laptops have 1080p displays, and offer options for external peripherals like speakers, keyboards, mice and monitors.
Pricing for the new CLX systems starts at $999 on the small form factor Scarab, with availability expected in two weeks.
