Long Distance Wireless Charging iPhone 8 Coming by 2017?
We love smartphones but we hate the charging solutions they come with, period. Even our loved iPhones have the same cords that we hate to detangle, keep a track of and find a socket for at least once a day. What if we told you that iPhone 8 might actually bring a much needed solution to this? What if we were to get a wireless charging iPhone in 2017!
Yes, you read that right; as soon as next year!
According to alleged inside scoops reported first by Bloomberg (a reliable news source, I might add), Apple is currently working on developing technology for a smartphone that will be released in 2017 with a wireless charging function.
This new wireless charging iPhone technology is allegedly being developed by Apple in collaboration with partners from Asia as well as the US as suggested by some “people familiar with the plans.”
The technology in question will not only allow iPhones (iPhone 8 for starters) to be charged wirelessly, but also iPads that release in the year.
Needless to say, this technology is apparently going to be a step ahead of the charging mats that we already know of and right now Apple is considering ways to minimize the loss of power during transmission.
The alleged insiders also say that final decision of implementation plans is being assessed as we speak, but all the details are private because the company wants to get there before actually letting the cat out of the bag.
I am super excited about iPhone 8 already although we are yet to get iPhone 7, are you?
