Galaxy S7 Specs Leaked by Samsung Employee; March 11 Release Date Expected
Previously it has been rumored that Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphone, Galaxy S7 is going to have water resistance, a bigger battery as well as the much needed MicroSD slot. Before that, we were allegedly shown the front panel of the phone as well.
This time, however, it looks like the leaks are coming from one of the official who might have accidentally leaked a horde of details on the smartphone’s specifications.
The alleged employee was talking to a Korean website where he revealed that the phone is going to have a 12 MP primary camera as well as f/1.7 aperture. Apparently, Samsung Galaxy S7 is going to be your go-to smartphone when you want low-light photography.
Another upside that he shared was that despite boasting of larger pixels the phone’s camera will not cause as big a lump on the rear end of the phone as its predecessors did.
That being said, the aforementioned rumors regarding the existence of a microSD slot have also been reiterated by the leaker alongside the two other rumors i.e. water and dust resistance.
One thing that was not reconfirmed was larger batteries although we are sure people would have liked that more than any of the other features being mentioned here.
Also, Samsung Galaxy S7 will have a black chassis, and the same color choices as the previous models i.e. black, white, gold and silver.
More importantly, one of the reliable sources for leaks and information on all things mobile, Evan Blass, has also stated that the phone will release on March 11 saying that it is “starting to look like a Friday, March 11th Galaxy release in the U.S.”
