Samsung Looking to Reduce Webpage Scrolling Speed in Android Marshmallow 6.0.1
It seems like Samsung is looking to decrease the page scrolling speed with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update.
Since Samsung is currently in the process of beta-testing the said Android update for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge in the South Korea and U.K; the leak of information is not surprising at all!
While it does not mean much on paper, this small yet neat trick essentially gives the processors some additional time to compute all the work and display web elements before a user reaches them and thus prevent the misconceptions of lag and stutters.
The downside of the said feature being tested by Samsung is that users will have to wait a lot longer in order to reach the bottom of a long webpage. For those of you who do not know, this is something Apple has incorporated in iPhones over the past years.
However, one important thing that you need to note here is that since the feature is currently being tested in the beta version, it may never surface in the finalized version.
In the meanwhile, make sure to let us know whether Samsung should go with the said feature or not?
