Previously in DEcember 2015, G.SKILL had released the impressive DDR4 3200MHz 64GB(4x16GB) kit for Intel Skylake but they did not stop there. The Taiwanese hardware manufacturer has been working on a colossal 128GB (8x16GB) DDR4 and the Ripjaws DDR4 3000MHz memory kit is their answer.
The memory kit has a ton of things to boast of, among which is the ultra high speed of 3000MHz. Not only that it has XMP support for Intel X99
Today, G.SKILL is excited to announce the release of a colossal memory kit of DDR4 128GB (8x16GB) ultra-capacity at the extreme speed of 3000MHz with CL14-14-14-34 ultra low CAS Latency. It’s truly one of the highest-end DDR4 solutions available for building the ultimate workstation for content creation, 3D rendering, scientific calculation, or other professional applications.
Apart from the extremely low latency rates of the 1.35V kit is going to come with the latest Intel XMP2.0 standard to work with the quad channel memory platform.
The company also stress tested the memory kit and shared the results with us. The rig used had a Intel Core i7-5820K and a ASUS ROG RAMPAGE V EXTREME motherboard. The results of the stress test are posted below:
The Ripjaws DDR4 3000MHz memory kit is going to make it to the market at the end of January 2016 as a part of the Ripjaws V series. The price of the memory kit was not shared.
